For newcomers: GamblyBot takes your text, screenshots, and voice commands and converts them into one-click betslips that link directly to sportsbooks with every bet loaded. It’s like Google’s “I’m Feeling Lucky” button for betslips.
The most important number in sports betting just became (305) 857-2288.
Since we launched GamblyBot on X, Discord, and here at Gambly, we’ve had our eyes set on expanding to iMessage and text.
We’ve been holding off on releasing this fully as we try to integrate chat functionality, but decided today to release GamblyBot as a standalone product with its own phone number.
Click to add GamblyBot to your contacts, or just text (305) 857-2288.
Please note that this service is an extension of GamblyBot and not yet Gambly chat to turn text (including from voice), screenshots, and links into one-click betslips.
Why One-Click Betslips Will Run Through GamblyBot Text
I believe GamblyBot via iMessage/text is going to be our most-used service by a large margin. The early numbers we've seen without promoting it very much support that. Here's why...
1 You can add GamblyBot to group messages.
We know how many of you discuss betting in group messages with your friends. We want to be in those conversations to make it as easy as possible to create deeplinked betslips you can all share and bet together.
When you text something like “GamblyBot give us the best odds on a parlay with Saquon to score, Hurts over pass yards, and CeeDee over rec yards,” you’ll get something like this:
Those bets will load on whichever sportsbook chosen for anyone with the link. So if you want to bet it on Fanatics and your buddy wants to bet it on FanDuel, no sweat. (This is also an easy way to perform odds comp on bets interesting to you.)
Note: when texting GamblyBot solo, you can just chat as normal. In group threads, please mention “GamblyBot” to allow the bot to read your message and create your betslip.
2 Voice to Betslip: Use Siri/voice command to create betslips.
Perhaps one of the most unique ways to use our new texting feature is via voice command. When you know what you want to bet–even if you don’t know where and want to compare odds–but don’t want to pick up your phone to text, you can just speak directly to GamblyBot.
We call this "Voice to Betslip."
I just used this feature and said “Siri, text GamblyBot to send me a slip for Dodgers to win and Ohtani to go deep.”
I received this:
My iPhone clearly isn’t a Dodgers fan spelling Ohtani wrong, but GamblyBot still knew who I wanted to bet–and also knew what “to go deep” meant–and delivered that betslip in 12 seconds.
Whether you have your hands full or you just want everyone around to hear how cool it is to ask for a betslip via speech, using GamblyBot via Siri/voice command is a huge time-saver.
3 It’s the easiest way to create shareable betslips.
Even if you’re not using GamblyBot in a group message, you can call the bot to create any betslip you’d like to share elsewhere, including on social media. The one-click betslips will load all of the bets onto sportsbooks for your friends and followers, too.
Perhaps you just bet a parlay on DraftKings and want to share all your bets. The easiest way is to just screenshot the betslip and text it to GamblyBot. Within seconds you’ll have a shareable betslip.
4 It’s incredibly simple to turn screenshots into one-click betslips.
A lot of GamblyBot users see others’ screenshots of bets, either in a messaging platform or on social media, and want to tail those bets.
Check out how simple it is to turn a screenshot from X into a one-click betslip:
You don't even need to save. Just hold down on the image, text to GamblyBot, and boom.
5 You don’t need to monitor your mentions.
In the above video, you can see I messaged GamblyBot, then went about continuing to scroll. Unlike on social media, with GamblyBot text, you don’t need to constantly refresh your mentions since you’ll receive a notification when your betslip is ready.
6 It’s private.
Whereas calling GamblyBot on X or Discord is public, text is private. We’ve noticed many GamblyBot users coming to our site to upload screenshots because they don’t want people to know what they’re betting.
Whether in a solo chat or group thread with GamblyBot, you don’t need to worry about everyone on social media seeing your betting activity.
7 It’s available during peak times.
We want GamblyBot available in as many locations as possible, but the reality is the service works with different efficacy in specific situations, especially peak times, when we need to rely on certain APIs or services.
We have more control over GamblyBot via text and GamblyBot on our website, so there’s hopefully little to no down time for you.
Best Practices
A few notes to get the most out of GamblyBot:
-
If using GamblyBot in a group message, be sure to mention GamblyBot on any text you’d like the bot to see and respond to. You don’t need to do this in a solo text.
-
Be as specific as you can if you’re sending text or voice command (as opposed to a screenshot). You don’t need to say exact odds, but you should request something more specific than “some bets for FanDuel tonight.”
-
GamblyBot receives one message at a time and is trained to respond solely to that message. This means if you text something like “Actually I want that at DK” after sending a different message, it won’t know what you want. Be sure all relevant info is contained in one single message.
-
You can perform odds comp on our one-click betslips. So even if you don’t mention a specific sportsbook, you can click the link and compare odds across all deeplinked books.
-
If you send GamblyBot an X link, it can read and respond with a betslip if the link contains the necessary information.
-
When you make a bet on a sportsbook and want to share with friends or followers, simply screenshot it and text it on over and we’ll do the rest.
As GamblyBot texting is still in beta, I’m sure there will be some hiccups. We are working around the clock to perfect this process–from comprehensive odds ingestion to fast and accurate responses–and we appreciate your support.
